Last night was the last straw. I actually got excited because Penny held her own with Leonard. She did something incredibly awesome and I jumped for joy. About ten seconds later it was completely ruined by the writers. I guess Penny is doomed to always be the dumb blonde who sleeps with the nerd hero…so sad.
Penny. Honey. Your attitude to sex needs rebooting.
And by that I mean, please fetch me whoever wrote her that line and last week’s line (you know the one) so I can slap them around…

Dear Lord. How are they getting away with this? I used to see Penny as this strong woman with a healthy sexual life. Now she’s just sad. But I don’t want her to be pathetic…I want the writers to fix it.

Damn I miss these moments. If I were to add a more recent one, I’d add the one where they’re sitting in her apartment reading and then making jokes about being married…that moment when they look at each other and laugh.
